Licensing
Using the software to collect data requires a software license. The software is licensed on a per-device basis rather than a per-user basis in order to allow complete flexibility in the number of machines on which it can be used, and reduce friction when lab members come and go. As such, each Versametrics Dart needs an active software license to be reachable by the software for data collection. A lab can simply license its Darts, and then make use of the software across as many lab members and machines as desired.
Purchase of a Dart 1 measurement system comes with a 1-year software license.
